Rest. We all need it, but we keep moving at Mach 5 speed thinking one day we’ll catch up—one day we’ll rest, but months later we find ourselves still running forward trying to catch up. It seems a badge of honor these days to be busy. But what we’ll find instead is lack of patience and quicker to become angry and blameful. We start to be so busy we can’t even breathe, we’re burnt and struggle just to keep up. It may seem like you’re being productive at the time but just as our bodies need food for energy, our soul and mind and body need rest. We weren’t created to be a machine. Feed your souls with solitude and a genuine rest that only comes from the One above. He wants us to rest. Rest in Him. When we do that we can then find the goodness of God.

This artwork has been done with an Artist Resin which has the highest UV Protection added to it. However, epoxy resin may still yellow over time if exposed to direct sunlight. It is advised to keep art pieces out of direct sunlight and heat.
